    repainting sports frame

I had a severely disabled girl in yesterday and we decided to go with a liberty sports frame. She needs something without temples because her condition makes her always leaning her head on something. The only problem is that they are all grey or navy blue and they wanted a pink frame or something girly for her . One of the child's care givers was joking about painting it pink and I don't no why it couldn't be painted or bedazzled a little. I was wondering if he did paint it what type of paint might work best. I figured some one on the board would have some experience with this. The girl deserves a cute pair of glasses.

Would one of the larger sized Miraflex frames work? They're available in lots of colors and sizes. www.miraflex.info

Try nylon base paint by sourcing from your local industrial paint supplier.

Don't use anything that has acetone in it, it will attack the frame body. I've always recommended acrylic paints.

I love miraflex frames and I sell a lot of them but I have found in circumstances where kids are confined to wheelchairs and cannot hold their heads of the temples become a problem. They either push out or end up sliding around the fave.
