briot accura

hello everyone i am looking for anyone able to work on a briot accura cx the frame tracer is not working can anyone help me with that ,i called briot and they refused to help because i did not purchase the machine from them

I ran into that problem, as well. I think it's a short-sighted and stupid move by Briot. I once spoke well of them but now hope they go out of business in the US.

That said, there are a couple of companies refurbishing these machines. Perhaps you can get one of them to service your Accura Cx: VSI (look in the Marketplace section of this forum) and Marmara (?) equipment (do a search for Briot on eBay).

You probably are having a problem with the infamous J cable, which eventually fails because the tracer twists and turns. I know VSI can get new ones.
