    sourcing Zyl?

hey guys, wanted to know if anyone knew where I could buy some acetate, as small volume as possible. Heard zyl comes in sheets, and or blocks? Want to start screwin' around cutting some temples and later some frame faces. if anyone can point me in the right direction for a vendor, please do so.

    thanks optigods,

    -Zack

I think you may get it from this eye clinic. Don't know if they provide it in small volume or not. Check out.

I have tons of supplier contact info! They usually require minimum order per color (30 kg ). One sheet in 180 cm x 16.5 cm x 6 mm thick is about 7 kg (allow u to make 17 frame front to 22 frame fronts, depends on the B measurement). Any particular country of origin required? Italy, Japan or China?

................as far as I remember it also takes at least 12 month of aging after manufacturing until you can work with acetate sheets.
