Webinar ABO and NCLE Review courses

The National Academy of Opticianry will be sponsoring an ABO review course webinar on October 19th and an NCLE review course on October 20th. They will be held live in Orlando during the Academy's 50th anniversary meeting, and will be broadcast as live webinars as well. Go to www.nao.org and find out the details. The timing shoud be great for anyone taking the test in November.

Just an update. The rates for registration for the onsite courses or the webinars goes up on September 1st. Right now, membr pricing for BOTH review courses is $50.00. That is not a typo. Since this is the 50th year anniversary celebration, the NAO has decided to give a break to its members. Even joining, now, would be a huge price break. There is no reason not to participate in a webinar for review if you are taking the test in November. Early registration is important for planning purposes, and to my knowledge, there is a number limit on last minute registrations even at regular price.

I hope that this new media works well for a lot of folks who would otherwise not be able to attend review courses. The future of education can be this efficient.

Just got back from Cincinnati at the ABO/NCLE Conference. The meeting was very good. The number of courses offered were less but made the class attendance much better. What was missing? Review courses. If you can make it to Orlando, you can attend live review, but if you cannot...the webinars will be streamed live as well. The other courses at the meeting are almost at capacity, but still all the room you want in a webinar.

While onsite event is sold out, there is still room in the webinars. If you need a little help with the ABO or NCLE exam, these will help. Also there is ABO and NCLE credits available as well, so you could get 6 hours of either ABO and/or NCLE credits.
