    Confused Physio 360

Is the Physio 360 still available or has it been replaced by an upgrade? Has been the perfect lens for me. Lab trying to promote some other lenses.

The Physio 360 was supposed to be replaced by the Enahanced, which was modified by Seiko. The 360 did not meet Essilor's expectations when it launched, on any front. But like the Panamic, it has now a small but loyal following. Essilor said the lens was going to be discontinued in Feb 2012, but its just a computer file so its still chugging away. Since it uses the same blanks as the Physio, it can easily stay around for a while. There is a likelihood that it will meet end of life though at some point sooner than later, Essilor just has too many products right now.

This is indeed correct. I am very fond of the Physio Enhanced. My patients have responded to it better than Definity 2 and Comfort DRX.

Right now Physio 360, Physio 360 Short and Elipse 360 are available in most of the materials with or without AR coatings.

Transition still available in this physio 360? I realize there are so many lenses out there I should try but I love mine. Just like some of our patients. Creatures of habit.

Yes they are Transitions IV in 1.67, Poly and Cr39.

Transitions IV = 4 = at least 2 generations old. I think you meant Transitions VI = Transitions 6.
