    Pupillometer Information

Do any OptiBoard members knowof research done into the accuracy of corneal reflection pupillometers? I’ve done literature searches and found oneor two, but nothing recent. Themanufacturers specifications state the instruments read out in 0.50 mmincrements, but no studies can be located that measure the accuracy.

    Thanks
    Roy

Thanks, this is one of the studies I've been able to locate. Do you know of any others? An Optometrist asked me if I knew of any papers regarding the subject and I was surprised to have this much difficulty located some.

No, it's the only one that I could find. One study should be sufficient, considering how tight research grant money is. Besides, some of us only use these types of devices as starting points, switching to manual methods on pre-adjusted frames for optimal results.
