So, my metric is how many people TRUST us enough as to not FRAGMENT their care.

If they come to my office, they bring us their problems, and we serve them with our solutions.

I am not interested in diagnosing problems and leaving the patient to go in search of the solutions.

I agree. It is not a sales tool. So in a way, you would agree that it would be a good idea to track how many people who get an rx from you fill it at your practice. That sort of capture rate would track how many people trust you? If you have a low capture rate calculating it that way, you would want to know why. Maybe they don't trust your optical staff etc?

    Yes, that's better.

I do think that there's going to be a subset of "fragmenters". I want it as small as possible. I like to control things. I work hard to diagnose and devise treatment plans. I want patients to have the correct treatment and follow up, commensurate with the effort already put in.

    :)
