    Help identify Clubmaster-like frame

    Hi all,
A client is hoping to replace a pair of frames he lost (and also can't identify....I know.)
He claims they are not Clubmasters, but I'm not sure I believe him (although I know there are many uncanny knock-offs.)

I posted an image, here is a link as well.
I've deduced that they're not the RX5154 Clubmasters but, other than that, I'm out of ideas.

    Thanks!
    Chuck

Looks a bit like the Shuron Ronsir from back in the day. Hard to tell in the photo, but I assume it has a full metal frame on the bottom of it.

Definitely Ronsir inspired. As you can see on their website, Shuron actually created this look, not Ray Ban. Like CC said, hard to tell from the photo. The have a newer version that is about this size with less B height. The metal on the bottom appears to be more prominent on the Ronsir

Does anyone know if these are still made in the USA? It looks like they are from the website, however I do not see any made in USA marketing on their site like you would expect.

The shield doesn't look like Ronsir. It looks like clubmaster.

Get in touch with Retrospecs on the west coast. If anyone can ID it they can.

They look like one of the knock-offs of the Sirmont, Ronsir, Clubmaster that were around during the 60's and 70's. Most were imported from Japan and sold through places like Duling, Sterling, etc.

And to piggy back on an earlier post, the Scott Harris vintage # 24 is a good option as well.

I think CCGreen hit the nail on the head. I see no frame on the bottom. There is a rimless clubmaster by Rayban and having a peek at those nosepads, they don't look like any of the vintage pads from the oldies.

sorry, I don't know the model # off the top of my head. I had it on my shelf up until a few months ago. Sold it.

Keep in mind, the big Lux probably already discontinued it anyhow.

I'm going to vote skepticism. Ray-Bans all have those insufferable clip nosepads with the curvature to them that aren't compatible with everyone's nose. The pads in the photo look to be a flatter, snap-in variety.

The Ronsir by Shuron and Clubman by Art Craft had larger B measurement than shown in the picture. This is a more modern knockoff.

Ahhh, thanks so much all of you!
I was Googling each of these ideas as they were posted.

I DID find the answer though...it's "Jono Hennessy" brand. I had never heard of them. My client found his receipt.
Now I've got to figure out how to get that ordered...

    thanks!
