Has ANYONE used Essilor Triplets before? Jess Edger, Tess Tracer and iNess Blocker??

I suppose these are fairly new, just 2 or 3 years old. I can't seem to find ANYONE (with any experience) who has ever even used one... much less who has the experience to rate the machine vs others available.

    ANYONE?
    Thanks, T.J.

That's funny, the sales rep specifically said the tracer is the exact same one that is on their $80K unit (which I assume is Mr. Blue).

I have been working on Triplets for a couple of months now. Previous experience is with Mr. Orange and Kappa edgers. LOVE it so far. Triplets are like a deconstructed Mr. O, which I found SLOW and the drill was not consistent. I deal with Lindberg rimless which have a milled slot and neither Mr. O or Triplets can mill slots, so I got Triplets without the drill function.

Edging is super fast and the custom features make it more useful than the "ultimate" Kappa.

I am happy to answer any specific questions you may have.

    Walter.

Oh, I only use the Tess tracer for frames and haven't had any issues. I have the Iness blocker with the camera that reads the shape of the former or demo lens shape. No issues with the Iness yet either. The Tess tracer is almost identical to Mr. Orange. I haven't worked on the fancy-pants Mr. Blue ...

The TESS tracer is also used for Remote Edging and as the tracing table in Mr Blue and Mr Orange.

Very reliable, very accurate and easy to repair.

It wouldn't be used as a Remote Tracer if is was not reliable.
