Piece of History, or in bad taste?

So after nearly 50 years in govt possession, Lee Harvey Oswald's wedding band was returned to his widow. She is auctioning it off. Not sure how I feel about this.

So.. what are your thoughts on things like this? I also remember seeing someone selling a locker key from the World Trade Center on eBay a few years ago, and it made me feel the same way. Touching something with that kind of tragedy attached to it, would be powerful, but is it in bad taste to sell it?

30 to 50K even after auction expenses is a substantial amount of money. I suspect the full back story could illuminate us as to how much the family could use the money.

I'll bet it goes for a lot more than that!

Or are the kids bickering over who gets it!

Things are ALWAYS slow this far north of the equator. But thats the way we like it. Leave all that high-falutin living for them flat-landers.

I once purchased a random lot of WWII era coins, and there were a few Nazi coins in the mix. At first, my boys and I were like, WHOA!! then we were like, whoa.

It could be both... "bad taste" looms pretty large in history...
