One in a Million! What's your "unlikely to ever happen again story?"

So as I was changing out some nose pads, the screw popped out of the tweezers and flew across the room, bounced off the wall, flew back across the room, bounced off the other wall, and landed in front of me, upright on its end/tip with the screw head pointing straight up. I give all credit to nose cheese for the final resting position.

Heating a temple tip and having the cheese inside liquefy and spill onto my finger, staining it green. That will never happen again cuz I chopped all my fingers off.

Putting Locktite into the barrel of an eyewire via a syringe. I thought it jammed, so I pointed it away from me, applied pressure, and the needle flew across the room, and stuck into the shoulder pads of the woman whose glasses I was working on. Ironically she was a nurse. Funny thing was, I was the only person that saw it happen, and I had to explain it to her as I reached over to extract the needle from her clothing. (She was not punctured).

That was probably the scariest thing that ever happened to me at work. I saw lawsuits in my sleep for many nights after that.

The company holiday party was at a casino. We decided to meet by the roulette tables when it was time to go.

On a whim as we were about to leave I said "Wait- We've got to see 16 come up on the wheel".

Sure enough the ball came to rest on 16!!! $$$ding ding ding$$$

Guess how much I had bet on it?
