NY licensed Optician living in Florida

I'm looking for a full time optical/optician job in the Sarasota/Bradenton/Sun City, Florida area. Many years of experience in pediatrics and geriatrics. Contact me and I'll send a resume. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Thanks Rich, I'll do that. I was fortunate enough to have a decent job in Sarasota. I rebuilt their entire optical, computerized, organized, brought new patients in. The thanks I got was" as of now, you no longer have a job"...no warning, never an "incident"..Florida being a right to work state can do as they please. I was going to get my Florida license, but when I called the state, I was two weeks over being able to use my NY license...and was told I would have to start all over again as an apprentice. At my age, I'll be retired before I'd get through the process....so, putting on my big girl panties and dealing with it

Welcome to MY world. I spent 18 years in Englewood. Most of the ODs are a-holes.......MDs not much better. Yeah, if you are not licensed, but have a lot of experience, they will use you to get their practices up and running and then can you for the cheapest alternative.....

Having said that, there are a few decent places to work between Bradenton and Port Charlotte. Hopefully you will find one.
