I love this line in his article. "Buying online also means you won't have the after-purchase attention you'd get from a professional in a walk-in store, say getting your new frames adjusted." Alot to be said for that. My only fault with the article is at the end when he mentions buying the frame and taking it to Walmart, or Costco, he could have stated take it to any optical/eyewear office, not just these two companies that don't need the extra free advertising. I'll be curious to the outcome, how much response they recieve.

Interesting. If we apply academic GPA ratings, we're left with a score of 2.33. Solidly in C territory-- a "GPA" brought down largely by Glasses and EyeBuy.

A central database collecting the results might be proof of any harm and useful for your non-licensed states to become licensed.

So far the most politically active on-line optical (=Coastal) has succeeded to deregulate the Province of BC, and made other provinces regulators ineffective and non responding. They have just set foot into the USA and will use their already working politics in a regulated Canada to work in the the USA which is a much easier to work territory.

WASHINGTON — Unemployment rates fell in nearly 90% of large U.S. cities in March, though most of the declines likely occurred because more Americans stopped looking for work, rather than found jobs.
The Labor Department says unemployment rates fell in 333 of the 372 largest metro areas. They rose in 22 and were unchanged in 17.

Where are all those people purchasing their glasses ? No income......some savings.........................would you not look for the easiest out of pocket expense ?

Whos is making the most money these days in the optical ? Your frame and lens manufacturers, they sell to one side or the other anyhow.
