    Prismatic calculation

    Hi

    Does anyone know how to recalculate a prescription to try to simulate a frame sitting at a pantoscopic angle of 35 degrees !!

    The subject of your thread refers to prism, although you would seldom apply any prismatic compensation for pantoscopic tilt. You can perform basic prescription compensation for pantoscopic tilt and wrap online at OptiCampus.com Tilt and Wrap Compensation.

    However, for more accurate calculations that also consider effects such as decentation, you may want to download and install the Spectacle Optics program from OptiCampus.com, which includes a prescription compensation module.

    I believe that the old "Lens Analysis" software is still available from the OptiBoard File Archives, although I only ever support the Spectacle Optics program, anymore. Spectacle Optics inlcudes a module based upon the old Lens Analysis program.
