    Temple Width Gauge

I am trying to obtain a temple width gauge for dispensing training.

the only type available is not a nice piece of kit, and overpriced. (cheapest is £32)

ideally older types which were made in metal with silver hammerite finish and brass scale would be better, but searching has produced nothing but this particular (chinese) generic type

    Any info/links much appreciated.

Fairbanks Facial measurement rule from Rees optical used in conjunction with standard frame rule will be fine. Last dusted down a pair of those head calipers at college some 20 years ago, and never needed one in practice since !

Just hoping thst someone has a pair in a draw/stockroom/cupboard? due to lack of use. Need them for training DO's.
Facial rules don't impart correct procedure for training.

Yes, I used to laugh at the LC giant head calipers too!

Far removed from the use of this device doesn't mean it's useless, it's just useless to you. I have a set of calipers and guages at home unfortunately I will not part with mine, it will be useful in an upcoming project.
