Old Coburn Parts and Instruction Manuals

I've got a complete set for the following machines, through the publication of the Coburn "Catalog" dated November 1977. I'm very willing to scan any machine publications you might be interested in. Please send me an e-mail requesting individual machines to: mike@auralens.net.

I'm looking for a place where these can be placed on-line for future posterity.

As far as I can tell, none of these individual publications have copyrights on them, and neither does the manual as a whole. The documents will be in multi-part zipped PDF form.

Ha! reminds me of my early days @ B&L. Mr. Coburn, Bill, I think would drive from Muskogee, OK to Dallas with his latest innovations in his Buick Rocket 88, hince the Coburn rocket logo. He would show his latest product to sell, and quiz the old timers about what would be helpful in the lab. (I was just a pup then). Amazing what optical innovations came out of a hick town in Oklahoma.

LOL, Yes indeed. A friend down the road, now long since retired, had an original black 108, the serial number was #10 or some equally low number.

Mike: Does Mary Larson know that you have these?? She may be interested in copies of some of them. She owns what is left of FB and does some Coburn rebuilding. 320-202-8704 She is on the north side of St. Cloud.

Great find! My grandfather purchased a 108 back in the late 60's from Mr Coburn. I was trained on that "Coburn Green Machine" with a 2 1/2 inch grinding wheel. Back then blacks averaged 65 mm. Would love a copy of the 108 manual for nostalgic reasons. Thanks EGDOC891@aol.com

Depending upon the file size, you could old add them to the OptiBoard file archives...

    Mike

I would love a copy of the operation manual for the Couburn - OWC 302 Lap Cutter. My Boss Just Had One Rebuilt By Owc And Would Like An Operations Manual To Have Around The Shop. I would Gladly Pay For The Copy Through Pay-Pal And You Can E-mail Me A PDF File Or Mail Me A Paper Copy However You Choose Is Fine. You Can E-Mail Me neildoddy@gmail.com Or I Can E-mail My Phone Number To You.

    Thanks For The Consideration
