    Vision-Ease Outlook

I was just informed by my lab that Outlook progressives in CR-39 are being phased out. Is this true? Is it the lens or just the material availability?

    Bev,
The plastic outlook has not been discontinued, but does seem to be in short supply. Doesn't seem to be a problem getting the poly outlook right now.

We've been told 5 and 6 base/2.50 adds are on backorder in polarized poly. Maybe the CR-39 being discontinued has something to do with it.
Aren't they the same folks that make (or made) the poly FT28's that are in short supply right now?

I've been told by V.E. Rep that all Polorized products from them will be limited availablity. This due to the fact they "ran out of (polorizing) film" ?!?!!?! OK............
