ABO advanced test frustration

So I was planning on taking the ABO advanced certification in may but the ABO website hadn't listed the locations so I called the other day and they said they would be up soon. I thought this was strange as I live in a rural area and would have to be making travel and work arrangements. So I have been checking about once a week and they finally update the website. The only advanced tests are in March at vision expo east then not until October at vision expo west. This is crazy! Due to work conflicts there is no possible way for me to make it to VEE. If there was a time for another organization to step up now is the time. How depressing.

Check the site again. They're doing it in Albuquerque in April and Florida in November.

Thanks Wes. Unfortunately the Albuquerque test is only for the NCLE. So looks like I will be going to VEW in October. Maybe the ABO will have gotten its act together by then.

That is disapointing. Advance requirements, require scheduling.... (drum roll pls).... in advance.

Its no more difficult to offer the ANOCE as well. Call them. If you want, pm me, and I'll call them.

Sorry to say Life happened. My Dad got bacterial meningitis in his brain and I had to use the money I would have used for the ABO-AC to fly to North Carolina to be with him. He is doing better but it was real scary for a while.
