    Rough Seas for Transitions?

Troubled times for Transitions or is three a crowd?? Or both?

    PPG Industries Inc.
and Essilor International are currently indiscussions regarding their interests in Transitions Optical,in which they hold a 51% and 49% interest, respectively. PPGhas raised the possibility of three options: the structure ofownership in Transitions could be modified, PPG could sellits shares to Essilor, in whole or in part, or PPG could buyEssilor’s shares. PPG has not ruled out the possibility that
talks will result in the status quo

Essilor is in full fledge expansion mode and I can see them taking over in the near future, I guess it is only a matter of friendly bargaining.
