Kinda weird, but since we switched to freeform and direct polishing, we can't really make frosted lenses anymore. Does anyone know where I can buy a stock frosted lens?
Thanks,
Ed

Just use really fine wet sandpaper by hand. With a bit of practice, it can actually produce wonderful results!
Ed - if you are using a polishing pad to "direct polish", why not substitute a 2nd fine fining pad instead? If there is not pad, why not use one?
Hobby shops have super fine sanding sheets on mylar that you can use to hand grind as Fezz suggested. I'd avoid using a commercial grade sand paper unless it has a plastic back and at least 600 grit.
You can also just stick a Bangerter/Ryser occluder on the lens and it is done.

I do have lots of fining pads left, not sure where my mind was, but fining up a stock plastic lens by hand made a perfect frosted lens in about 5 mins, thanks to everyone for their suggestions!
