    Help with trouble shooting PAL

I have a pt who ordered new glasses from us last month. He said that he sees well with them but when he starts to look into the intermediate/reading area, the floors look elevated. If sitting down at a table, part of the table looks elevated. Is this a BC problem? He didn't bring in his old pair when he came in for the initial order. He is currently in Unity Plx. Thanks.

first, um.. ofcourse the floor looks elevated when you are looking through the reading.. so unless they are trying to read papers they have thrown on the floor of their office in some sort middle management tantrum, I don't see much of a problem there. As far as the desk issue, my gut says, "gurgle gurgle" which loosely translates to, "sounds like a seg height / frame tilt issue. Lower the seg a bit, tilt lens towards cheek a bit. See how that works."
Patient, ".. Doctor says I have a subscription for stigmata.. Can you fill that?"
    Me, "..Um.. "

tilt down his head more so looking on the floor via the distance zone. at his current position he looking at the floor via the wrong Rx for sure he wont feel good about it.
just educate your patient on the wearing habit and i'm sure it helps you..

If the distance is good, and the reading is ok, its not an BC issue... after an adpatation period the only thing left is being a design issue.
