Dear friends..

I need to sell one of my optical locations in Austin, TX. It was established in '93 by my husband and I, who are opticians. We put in an Ophthalmic office and it was doing fine, until the OD left 3 months ago. Does anyone know any other web sites for OD's or MD's, so I can get the word around?

Have you thought about asking a ophthalmologist in a neighboring town. Its a good way for him/her to expand their surgical practice by picking up a cataract or caps. patient here and there. The advantage is obvious for you. I say a neighboring town, so that your clients don't end up in his office as easily.

Both the American Optometric Assn, and The American Board of Opthalmology as well as CLAO and other associations of Optometrist and Ophthalmologist have web pages. Some of them are even looking for work or good locations to open a practice.
