    Analysing a progressive design lens (freefom, Digital surfading....)

    Hi

    in below 2 cylinder map of 2 different progressive lenses.
    how do you find them?
    These 2 lenses are surfaced whith 2 different way (one is totally internal progression made by freeform technology, and the orther one is external progressive surface associated to an internal digital surface)
    the scale is the same (Min Cyl 0.12, Max Cyl 1.80)

    Note that the first one is littel bit roteted to the right (positionning in the mechanical mapping machine)

    Your software should have the ability to load in both designs and do a comparison. Read the manual or toy around with it.

    Yes we can compare them theoreticly but i would like to get some professionnal point of view.
