    Patient knows what he wants

I've got a patient who would like a small, 46-48 eye, P-3 shape frame in black. He'd like it to be a metal frame with a plastic insert inside the eyewire like Armani had some years ago. I've got one here in the office but it's one size only in 44. Too small for his tastes. Any suggestions on Manufacturers or particular models. Thanks

Viewable online? I don't have a Kenmark catalog here yet. New office (only 3 months old) and all my old stuff (equipment, parts, charts, catalogs, tools) stayed with the new owner. Been 6-10 months since I've seen a Kenmark Rep or catalog. Thanks for the suggestion.

I was able to access Kenmark's website but not sure if I'm seeing what you see. The only applicable frame appears to be "The Comb"? but that looks like it's completely zyl. That's the correct shape but 45 is not big enough. That's for pointing me there, though.

How about the Pointdexter - An Original Penguin by Kenmark? Black or Tortoise, 48-22-145. It's a plastic eyewire, metal bridge combo.

Thanks. I'll head to Kenmark website and view that frame. Size is fine, just hope it comes black with temples located NOT at the very top of the frame. Pt. pretty picky but that's OK. I can deal with that. Have been for 30 years.

Thanks for the suggestions. The Scott Harris is too small and doesn't come in black. Would really like to find a metal frame with the plastic eyewire inserts like the old Armani's years ago. Again thanks.

Thank you. That is exactly what the patient wants. Size, color and style. Perfect! I will pass this along and be sure to mention where this came from.

It's a US company but I am not sure if the product is made in the US. I saw on a Chinese manufacturers website stating that they are the ones that make the glasses for Kala.

If you are still interested Lux has the frame in their new Giorgio Armani collection. It's the AR 5005 47 or 49 eye size with a 23 bridge. Comes in 4 colors including Black.

Thank you very much. The patient ultimately picked something close in style but good to know for his next visit.
