2012-11-08_12.12.23.jpgThis is Barkley (Mr. Barkley doesn't like the rain, and we lots of that in the Valley!)
2012-10-06_12-32-55_81.jpg ... He will find ANY sun and settle in!
2012-08-27_15-25-10_998.jpgAnd finally, the princess, Jasmine. This is a photo taken this summer after her last surgery (she is a 'pro' at having surgeries!) She will be 15 in the next couple of weeks. She is truely the light of my life , loves me when others find it difficult to do. She will forever be "Mom's girl"
Barkley is a Standard Dachshund... Jasmine thinks she is too( shh.... she doesn't know she has a little bit of Beagle mixed into her blood!)

Here is my Coconut:
Coconut.jpgCoconut2.jpg
I don't know what kind she is (besides cute) but she has been the best dog ever. We've been through some rough times and she always been sweet and good and eager to please. Love this little pup! She is approx. 7 years old and about 25 lbs. She is a ball of energy- she loves car rides so we take her on day trips with us when it's safe for her to stay in the car if we go get a bite or something. I can't imagine my life without her!

principe.jpgSophie.jpgMy Standard Schnauzer, Prince. We got him almost 2 years ago FREE from the eBay Classifieds. We adopted him from a lady that does pet rescue and we were told he was about 4 years old and he had a wife and a litter but she took them all in from a family that lost their home to forclosure. He was the last memeber of his "family" to be adopted. He really lives up to his name. The best dog ever! This pic is from when we first got him.. he's got a much better groomer now...I just love his eyes in this picture. He was new and wasn't sure if he loved us or not yet. Now we just can't imagine life without him.
Then there's Sophie, my 17 lb kitty. We got her 9 years ago at a humane society and she was regular-size but my father who had dememtia was mean to her and she put on weight and was a very angry kitty. Dad has been gone for several years now and with lots of love (we call it "kitty therapy") this girl has transformed into a sweetie-pie, still won't get on anyone's lap though. and YES! She IS as soft as she looks.

My 2 SPCA rescues, brother and sister. We adopted her first, and he was adopted out elsewhere and abused, and wound up back at the rescue. We say him, and put them back together after almost a year. Lexie the female (right), and Bailey the male.

Our photographer stopped by Tuesday night to drop off the pictures of our BRATS.......er...ah....I mean KIDS..........ahhh..ahhh....I mean DOGS!
The Old guy dressed in yellow is Asti! The mischievous looking BRAT is Jasper.
Here they are doing what dogs do best!
This is not my dog, it is my sisiter's dog, Daisey. I had to post this picture. The poor girl is so ugly, she is almost cute!
It is amazing how these damn animals weasel their way into our hearts isn't it!
This is our little rescue long haired Jack Russell (mix, but not too much). He keeps us in stitches. Born about May 1 of this year. We got him on July 3rd. I was just watching him run around the back yard with his favorite toy, his tennis shoe, by the shoe lace. He loves his "doggie door". I have to watch what he can take outside.

IMG_0851.jpgThis is Bella. I can't seem to get any more photos here. I'll try another time.
That's a better looking Bella than I'm used to hearing about.
