    Tom ford glasses

Had a patient come in looking for some Tom Ford glasses, I've never heard of them, has anyone else? If so does anyone know who makes them?

Love is a duet, each voice complementing each other and making them sound better than they would alone, each voice at times stepping back and letting the other shine. We've got a pretty good duet going Tina.

I believe Marcolin has them. They are very readily available online as well, worth looking into that and the pricing available online.

We've reported on them a few times on our FB page. Don't really like the designs, don't know anything about quality.

We think they are way to expensive for how crappy they are made. We have no interest in selling them

Anything Marcolin will sell you, they will sell to the onliners/chains for much less. And their quality has declined tremendously in the last five years. Look what they did to Roberto Cavalli, and to a lesser extent, Swarovski.

Had a Marcolin rep drop in here today...and tried to push TomFord on me. I told her I had no interest due to the poor quality and she swears she has only seen a couple of them break in the two years she has been with Marcolin. Has the quality significantly improved since 5 years ago or is this total rep BS ?

I worked at a place that carried them. The first shipment about half were not even and they cracked around the lenses. So we sent them back for a new batch. and I $H!* you not they were the same ones we had just returned. lol they are way over priced for the poor quality. I can't wait until another manufacture gets the license.

We sell them here. I am not really impressed with their line. None of their frames have really stood out to me. I haven't had any issues with the quality of them from those who do purchase them. Biggest issues I have with them is the price, the lack of varying styles and the awful return/exchange rate for them.

We sell them here... well kinda...very poor turn over. Expensive and large sizes. The sizes make them difficult to sell. Forget about the return rate! 3:1! (That includes anything discontinued...not just a frame board clean up.) Same rep has Mont Blanc....don't get me started on those!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got my second pair of Tom Ford opthalmics and also have the "Karlie" sunglass from them. I have been more than impressed with the quality of the product. Luckily for me because of the price, I am able to afford these through our workplace benefits. I don't see myself straying far from the brand in the future

We have had good success with the product. I edge, assemble and dispense almost all the eyewear and i have not had any issues with quality. Might just be the demographics here but pt's love them here.

...DONT THINK... you are very accurate
temples do not line up with frame body, and neither do the embedded T logo on the temples...rep says its because they are hand made...sure sure(could you imagine telling it to a person paying over 300 for a frame?
and the spring mechanism is a disgrace for the price.

How does one judge the quality of the spring mechanism? smoothness? how many break and people return?

Hi I would like to stock Tom ford but my competitor down the road has forced our local supplier not to supply us. Is anyone out there prepared to supply me at a small premium?

Why don't you just buy them at Costco and mark them up?

I am not sure about the Tom Ford prescription frames, but the sunglasses are generally very good quality. They are made by Luxottica so the quality is exactly the same as Prada, Gucci, Versace etc. We did some reviews on them, you can have a quick read below if interested:

Yes and yes among other things such as how easily they are gummed up and what is the basic design of the hinge.

We've carried them since three years I believe, I work on and off so it could be longer.

They are great quality, on the larger side, very discrete in terms of brand logo and name on the frames.

    Yes they are by Marcolin.
