What computer software is recomended for optical lab management?

Personally, I have had issues with CC System's customer service. They put me in an expensive dilema. Their Database architecture is also very old.

Optivision is my new favorite, and Bruce provides great customer service.

DVI has some great features, but its WAY too expensive and the maintenance fees are huge.

I agree about DVI, way too expensive. I had the reverse experience compared to yours sharpstick777, great service from CC Systems and a pretty bad one from Optivision (especially Bruce).

I believe it is fair to defend yourself against baseless claims. You should defend yourself in the arena in which the slight occurred.

I appreciate the clarification on the situation because I am opening an optical shop. Of course, I am doing my research and reading posting on here regarding user's thoughts and suggestions. When someone post something (regardless if it's true or not), I have nothing else to go by but their posting. Therefore, if others would add their pros and cons, it is very helpful, especially on "one-sided" stories.

I agree with Johns. Although Bruce you do have a right to defend yourself and your company, GohkahnSF's remarks did not warrant what I would consider to be a very personal attack. Your airing of the previously undiscussed information is not relevant the performance of your software. It was a below the belt hit IMO.
