I've been very happy with my Hoya Lifestyle ID progressive lenses; they have noticeably less color fringing than the other lenses I tried when I got them. However, my prescription has changed, so I'd like to just get the lenses replaced. My local Costco offers terrific prices on Essilor Ovation lenses and can have them fitted to my existing frames, but those only come in polycarb, don't they?
Has progressive lens technology progressed since 2008, when I got my Hoyas, or will I still do best with them?
