Sandy done brought out the fear

    Of not having glasses.

    Been open for two days.

Only repairs. No new Rx sales.

    But.....

5 pairs of Adlens "Emergensee" glasses sold today.

    Go figure.

    Personally?
Business fine - no damage or loss of power
Home: also fine, but no pwr.

    Lucky.

Others around me - friends, family, reps, etc., no so good.

My store was w/o power and closed for 2 weeks. Just reopened yesterday, and a little slow. I really hope it turns around very soon.

Our office was fine, but we had no power for 5 days. At least 20% of our patient base lives in an area that was devastated. I imagine they will be changing their priorities and buying things like lumber, sheetrock, furnaces, appliances, carpeting and the like...not fancy eyeglasses.
