Get some Frame Welder or equivakent, and do it yourself like we did in the old days. Slightly dissolve the broken surfaces stick them together and let them sit overnight. Finish the fixed break and you will not even see that it ever was apart.

I thought it would be pretty obvious that I wasn't local to this person since I can't even get her lenses edged into different frames...
Not really obvious, but I guess it's just us. I liked Chris' suggestion (and note he said "or equivalent", so really not "shilling" his product), but if they are a friend, why not have them scan a lens trace and send them another frame? Being zyl, you'd only have to get close, and anyone would probably glaze them for her.
