    Well, I've never seen them grow other than singly, but further investigation (including photographic evidence) suggests that grapefruit may indeed grow in clusters as well as singly.

    I learned something else I didn't know, which is that grapefruit is a hybrid of the pummelo and the orange; and that a tangelo is a hybrid of the grapefruit and the tangerine.

    I wonder if pummeloes grow in clusters...
