    ESSILOR to HOYA

And Finally we got rid of Essilor Hype ..........And Signed Contract with HOYA !
From now on ,NO MORE ESSILOR LESNSES unlike for last 4 Years..........After Sale service is Bad to Worse ,High Prices ,Sales Representives are Once in months.......BIG GUYS !

Is it A Good Idea to Move from ESSILOR to HOYA ?

I think you are avoiding an important question: What is the best lens, for each patients lifestyle and RX? If you can answer that second question, you can that first one. Where does Hoya excel? Where are they weak?

I agree with Vue (Sharpstick777). Why sign a contact any way? There will be times (many times) Hoya lens won't work for your patient or frame choice then what do you do? Will you still have access to Essilor, Zeiss, or Shamir?

For the record, my two Essilor reps visit often and are fantastic. They are knowledgeable, conscientious, and honest. And Essilor products of many kinds serve my patients very well.

I think it's a good idea to not limit yourself to one supplier for lenses. I love dealing with the nearby Hoya lab, and I like the products I buy from them. But I also buy from several other companies.
