Can anyone tell me if Billy Brock is still in business? I've called several times and get a generic computer generated message advising that "We are not available at this time. Please try again later."
The number I called is 817.921.9217.
TIA,
Bob

He was a couple years ago, I know that for sure. I don't have contact info anymore though, sorry.
Billy Brocks website is up and running at ----------------------------> http://www.billybrock.com/
At Billy Brock Design, we provides unique fashion eyewear for woman. My experience, along with our supporting staff, have over 20 years of quality designs to offer you or your clients.
Quality of product and unique designs are what I have built my reputation on. I am always striving for improving the quality of our finish product. You and your clients can tell as soon as you look at one of our jeweled products that no expense was spared to produce the finest eyewear.
The stones and frame lines we work with are the best in the industry. The match of a fashion frame and our designs are simple. We have several designs to chose from so please take a look at our on-line samples. Our sample pages change frequently so check back to see some of our new designs.
Because of the growing demand for quality lens workmanship in three piece mountings, Billy Brock Designs is now creating flat edged lenses with no specialty treatment. Please call us at 817-921-9217, and let us give you the latest pricing.
I sent a job to Billy Brock in December without tracking as I have done for decades. It never came back. They never answered emails or phone calls. I suspect they just don't exist anymore. Too bad, my patient loved them. Any alternatives for jeweled lenses?
I just tried to call his local phone # here in Fort Worth and got a generic recording to try again later.
Finally, I just heard from an Optician in Pa. that knows him and his family. Billy has retired and is helping with sick in-laws. His site's still up but he's not not doing his amazing work anymore. It's a shame because there a very few left that does what he does. Billy, if you read this, the optical world will sorely miss your work, but I hope you can enjoy your much deserved retirement. Cheers!
George
