The greatest memorial to fallen citizens is to DESTROY the enemyl that killed them. Silly statues only give a feel good fealing to the survivors. Join the Marines and destroy the enemies of the United Stated or save your money for a needy cause.

    Wave Outside view

There should be some form of memorial incorperated into whatever is put there. But as its owned by the port auothrity i guess in the end they will do what they deem to be the most profitable scheme for them.
Offices and expensive flats i guess it will be then, but no where near as high as before.

I voted for the Memorial Square simply because it incorporates less buildings. And I feel that it is a more fitting tribute to not have many buildings on that site.

    Lightbulb I think

We should rebuild within a memorial area set up to pay respect to all who died in this warlike act. This should be international in nature since the victims were not only Americans but citizens of the world. We should have a functional structure that carries on similar activities as the previous towers to show the terrorist that we stand strong as a country and world alliance against their cowardly acts and we will rebuild!

How about a set of AWAC radar domes with surface to air missles atop all possible targets as a memorial message?
