I've got a patient (staff member, actually) who needs new glasses.
-10.50 -0.25 x018 5½ ΔIN 5½ ΔDN
-12.50 -1.50 x167 5½ ΔIN 5½ ΔUP
Single vision lenses. Ideally something digital. Frame has a 51 eyesize. The lab I used last year to make her glasses is now unable to do it as they use a different lens manufacturer; nothing over 3 diopters of prism on each eye.
Does anyone know of a lab that can get me something like this? Thin as possible, obviously. Zyl frame.

It ain't gonna be too thin. But the prism can easily be accomplished by decentration alone (About 5.5mm OD and About 5.0 O.S in the proper direction of course. Don't understand your lab's problem but if they aren't bright enough to see that decentraion would do this, you don't need them.
Remember Prentis's Rule. 10 diopters moved 1 mm=1 diopter prism.

You don't need to order prisms and pay for them to the lab unless you order aspherics!
Order 1.74 spherical if you lab can get it and decenter yourself! You have looted of room on the full blank
Keep the B as small as possible and it'll look like a -8.00
Or better!
No horizontal decentration!

How could I do it without horizontal decentration, Lenny? That sounds...Odd.
BI might cancel your decentration!
Watch your lens choice, and yes, do it by decentration. By lens choice, I mean SPHERICAL, NOT APHERIC! (always when ordering prism). BTW, the prism is out of range for digital surfacing. Seiko has stock spherical lenses in this power ranger..
Did it myself, ended up with a much better finished product than she's ever had in the past. 5.5mm at the edge, 7mm nasally on the thicker of the two. Wish I had a camera to take a picture of it, actually. Immediate adaptation to the new pair as well, doesn't usually happen. Good advice on the DIY. :)
