Is this an isolated error or is it occurring on all jobs? The key to the error is the dz 2.21. The right side chuck measures the center thickness to determine bevel placement. If the lens is too thin..then the error will occur. Caliper the lens to verify minimum of 2.2. As a result the next error occurs. Z is the frame profile or bevel placement measured during the roughing cycle. If thickness is off the z set cannot be calculated.

Try running a relatively thick or strong plus lens. Watch to make sure the guides on either side of the roughing wheel make contact with the lens edge. If the error persist you may need to calibrate right side chuck position. If possible post picture of your machine

The error refers to a limit switch not triggering during a set time. The X refers to machines X axis which I believe is movement left to right. Y would be front to back. Check to make sure there isn't any swarf behind grinding wheels which might be limiting movement. Next step is to check internal gear and rails the wheel assembly sits on. During startup manually assist the movement to the achieve max distance within grinding chamber

Thanks alot for your fast replay, but i already change the limit from x to y then to z (which is responsible for the lens motor) i notice that on start up the motor did not stop so i change the limit with another one with the same specification but there are a vibration noticed on the y axis i don not knew what is the relation between the limit abd the vibration so what do you think.
