    Vision for 3-D Movies

Good day to all, food for thought.

Will the vision be affected for the same person at various positions if they were to sit at the centre, side, front and back of the movie cinema? will there be any differences for a single vision lens and progressive lens as well?

Who needs a progressive (or even a bifocal) to watch 3-D movies? Nobody sits that close.

All 3D is calibrated for optimal 3D *disparity* effect for the same place in a theatre as the sound - orchestra center.

It's been my experience that the overall "best" (if you can call it that) is about 2/3 back from the screen. If I get too close, I've been slightly nauseated from the distortions (of course, it could have just been the choice of movies too, I guess).

You've obviously never had to sit in the handicapped seating area. Most theaters shove you all the way to the front and as far to one side as they can sit you. And then claim to be wheelchair accessable. 3-d movies are essentially unviewable. (with the exception of the movie theater at Arundle Mills in Hanover,MD they give some of the BEST seating to wheelchair accessiblity.)

I kid, you probably wouldn't need the reading portion of the lens...just the intermediate.
Bart Smith, continuing to be awesome since 1982 so that you don't have to.

Love is a duet, each voice complementing each other and making them sound better than they would alone, each voice at times stepping back and letting the other shine. We've got a pretty good duet going Tina.

On April 28th, I'll be marrying my best friend. I can't wait!
