In what material? Can you use a high index material like 1.67 or 1.70?

Pretty much any flat-lens diving mask can accomodate almost any Rx. Just be sure that if the lens in the mask is glass (most are) that you use a glass Rx lens. With the variance in temperatures between submersion and exposure to direct sunlight, the optical cements that are usually used do not "flex" enough to allow bonding between glass and plastic. And the plastic lens would have to be a "true" plano to ensure proper bonding.
ok, so as opticians, we are all into math. think about this. When we fit a contact wearer who has astigmatism, we use a spherical equivalent which corrects about 90ish % of their overall Rx need. Soooo, If this person needs -12.00ish for swim goggles & you give them a -10.00, then you have corrected 83% of their need. (Let's call it the bulk of what they need.) Not to mention, vision is never fabulous under water to begin with. ANNDD, if this person is presbyopic, then they need a -12.00ish for far, -11.00ish for intermediate & a -10.00ish for up close, so really, for $20ish bucks, if I was the consumer, I'd wanna try the -10.00 before custom making a pair.

one more thought, I'm about a -3.25 on contacts. When "I" go to the pool I wear no contacts & no glasses, so if I can swim, etc. with an uncorrected -3.25, then you're client will likely be just fine with an uncorrected -2.00 in and around the pool.
Hilco / Leader has an Rx swim goggle that supports +20.00D to -20.00D to -4.00cyl. Call customer service.
Well, If I need that strong correction, I will prefer stay on the beach.
