Confused Help! I need really long temples!

My patient (who does not look like a freak of nature) needs 170mm temples.

He wants a plastic frame with plastic temples. We failed to find him something 6 years ago and he found some when he was out of state--somebody had some discontinued Luxottica (Spheroflex?) frames with 170 mm temples. Please let us know of anything you may have or know of. Thank you very much.

Could you not attach a couple of PDrulers to the sides. Sorry, I just took my pain pills :-)

Anglo American eyewear custom makes frames. Look on their wesite and see if the models are of the type you want, and then ask if they could make the longer temples for the frame. Good luck.

Another idea...if you find a zyl frame with metal temples...Hilco has temple tip replacements that are temple extenders...comes in about 3-4 different lengths.
Good luck and let us know what happens!

If you can talk the patient into it you could use a cable conversion on the temple tip, you can make this as long as you want.

Sorry, I hope I didn't upset you. No one on this board knows how to take a joke.

Try FatHeadz. I brought the line in recently for my really large men...it's working really well. Priced very reasonably also!
