Vacation At Last

Here in Texas time it's just about midnight. I am going to bed now, and when wake up I am going to load the husband and 2 kids in the car and we aren't stopping till we hit New Orleans.

Yippie!!!!!!!!! It's finally family vacation time. This will be our first real vacation since before Sarah was born (she's 14 months now).

I love you all, but I am sooooooooooooo outta here. See ya'll in a week.

It was a wonderful vacation, but it's good to be back in my own bed.
I have dropped in a couple of times over the last few days and have been trying to catch up on all the new stuff. Boy, you check out for a few days and you miss out on a whole bunch around here.

Glad to hear you had a good time..........Was this your first visit? I have two family members that just returned from a weeks stay on Bourbon street.And from what i gather,they can't wait to go back.I myself have never been.........but they made it sound so inviting.Any suggestions?

I had been there overnight a couple of times, but this was the first time to actually sightsee and visit. My hubby was born there and still has som aunts and unclesliving there. I went to Cafe du Monde and enjoyed my coffee and beignets, toured plantations, and even gambled a little at Harrah's.

Our last family vacation was when I was 4 months pregnant with Sarah. We had a great time. But I have to say, the strangest thing I saw was the drive-thru bars. You can't do that in Texas.
