In the market for a new auto lensometer, just wondering if anyone has any recommendations. Make? model? thanks!

Any of the current Nidek ones:

    http://www.nidek-intl.com/products/e...m-600pduv.html
    http://www.nidek-intl.com/products/e...on/lm-500.html

They all use a Hartmann Sensor with 108 multiple measurement points.

In our experience the measurements have always been accurate, precise and very repeatable.

All models can graph the progressive power increase and length.
Models with the PD measuring option can measure progressive zone width as well.

All of our Nidek lens-meters are fully functional and in active use (some models are over 10 years old).

The B&L 70 isn't Auto, unless the same guy in Canada who turns Weco 4040's into patternless edgers is now turning B&L 70's into Auto Lensometers.
