The Wing Bowl is today! That is way more exciting to me than the silly football game!

What the heck is a "wing bowl"? It's only a "silly" game if the New England Patriots ore NOT in it!

How many Patriots does it take to change a tire?

One, unless it's a blowout. Then they'll all show up!

That's all for now. You'll be hearing from me Harry, probably around halftime when we've all wrapped it up.

Gonna watch my Tar Heels smack the Terps today!

Today's the day! Super Sunday is always bittersweet, regardless of who's playing the game. For avid fans, it's the day the football season ends, Nothing but reruns until exhibition season starts in August. Those of us who golf have that season to look forward to, and baseball fans have winter camp starting in a couple of weeks, but the football fan is just out of luck for the next 6 months. Regardless of who wins, today is not all roses.

Oh boy, two more east coast teams with the most insufferable and obnoxious fans in American sports. I think I'll pass on this one, not because of what the Giants did to the Packers, that was mostly self-inflicted, but more so due to the fact that I don't really care what brand shampoo Brady is using. And I wouldn't necessarily compare Jimmy Hoffa to Belichick, but can't help noticing that the Patriots haven't done anything but lose ugly since Spygate. The New York team, which plays and is headquartered in New Jersey, is called the Giants, a name that is based on a fairy tale. Now, I'm not saying that their players are a bunch of ladies…

Okay, maybe I'll join the party in the second half, if it's close. I guess I'll miss another lip-synced Madonna performance, but will place a side bet on whether she'll be wearing fishnet stockings.

How many SBs is this now? The Roman numerals are starting to get a little confusing.

Drinking game: one shot for every Peyton Manning appearance. Could be interesting if he sits up front in one of the luxury boxes.

    Giants, by a bunch.

Cutting Underwood last night, can't be spun that they needed 1 other player (especially that low on the roster) more than someone there already, is not going to cover it up.
It is 'just a business' as they say, but as we all know, bad decisions can hurt a business. This will no doubt hurt the Patriots and shows their lack of class.

Oh, and Tom Brady lovers, this loss will dis allow him in the conversation for greatest of all time no matter what the future holds. No great QB with multiple rings losses 2 Bowls especially to the same team and can expect to be in that talk. Sorry Brady you'll have to settle for the what if...

Underwood was cut at the last minute so the Giants couldn't pick him up off waivers.

Gronk not 100%- 12 men on the field- Welker made that catch all year- Eli throws a perfect sideline pass- oh well-- I will admit that the better team won.

    I'd still marry Tom!

Pats are 26 million under the cap. Should be an interesting draft!

It's been 9 whole months since our last championship. So I'll spend a couple more days avoiding high places and sharp objects.

Sorry to be so quiet on the "Day After" but I was in Boston for a procedure in the AM and then went "hat shopping" for my photo shoot for Anthony!! Great Game however, and although predictions didn't come true, I think everyone got their money's worth of entertainment. My understanding is that my hat will not arrive for another week and a half so you'll all have to wait for that post.

Well,I do think it was a well played game, kept pretty close. I thought Manninham was going to have to find a new team next year after that careless effort running OB on that pass, but he made it up later in a big way.

    Ditto!
Leave it in long enough and maybe through osmosis you'll learn what a true champion thinks and acts and looks like :)

Very funny you guys! We'll see who is crowing in '13! Five months to training camp and I'm counting the days! Gronk is healing nicely and Giselle has apologized to Wes for her snide remark. All is well in New England and we're already ramping it up for an 18 -0 season. I'd say I'm looking forward to pitchers and catchers next week but that would be a lie! I could care less about basaball right now. Golf is more fun to play than to watch although it was good to see Lefty pull off a victory last Sunday. Just a few more weeks and my weekends will be full again.
    Ta Ta!
    Harry
Anthony, I have to go to Boston tomorrow but I will put your package in the mail on Friday for sure!
