I wish I could join you all, but the OAV will be meeting in beautiful Colonial Williamsburg that weekend. I'll have a Scotch and a good cigar in your honors ( ask Karlen, she'll explain)!

Tom suggested we make up a ribbon or similar that says "Optiboarder" on it. I've made up about 100 small labels that say "Optiboarder!" that you can stick on your show badge, lapel, or wherever. I'll bring them with me for the photo shoot at the Jobson booth on Friday or if you want one sooner (or later for that matter) come by the Western Optical Booth (#7063).

Since posting this message I've come up with a kind of "ribbon" (actually some are on clear plastic and some on heavy bond paper- the only thing I know about "cloth" is that I wear the stuff). You can attach the ribbon with the stickers I mentioned above to your badge or whatever or use a straight pin (I'll bring some of those too).

As I said in an earlier post I've made up some stickers and ribbons for Optiboarders to wear at the show. The ribbons are about 2" wide by 6" long, and say "I'm An" in about 18 point horizontally and then "Optiboarder" vertically. Ribbons are on heavy white stock paper or heavy clear plastic for those of you who are wearing light colored clothing. I've also taken the liberty of "personalizing" the ribbons for those of you who have posted your full name on this thread (I get very creative after a couple of bottles of Gordon Biersch Blonde Bock!). As I said before, you can pick up stickers and labels at the Western Optical Supply booth #7063 any time during the show, and I'll also bring them with me to the photo shoot at the Jobson booth. Look forward to meeting all of you!
