I've been getting inquiries on the difference between the popular imbibition photochromic (Transitions) and the spin coat photochromic (Suntech). I've read in one of the forums that imbibition may have problems with double surface progressive that is why Hoya created the spincoat photochromic tech. But aside from this, are there any real advantages of the spin coat over the imbibition tech? I'm a bit apprehensive to offer the spin coat because of the issue on detachment or peel-off. After all, it is still a coating right?
