Career Exploration Day...

Our office and optical have been invited to participate in a Career Exploration Day for high school students in our areas. We are excited to participate and hope to raise some awareness of the available options in the opthalmic specialties! We need your help! We are looking for suggestions:
What type of educational materials should be have available that would be informative yet interesting to high school students?

What types of tests or activities could we perform, or possibly have the students perform on each other, that would be fun yet educational?

How could we make our booth appealing so that students will stop at it?

I have done this for elementary students but not for high schoolers. Should be fun and interesting. I think I would approach it from both the science of the field as well as touching on the art of fashion. Optical covers quite a few subject areas that many people looking for career guidance don't even think about. If you can transport some equipment, make sure it looks hi tech just to draw them to your table. I would not take to many eyewear samples, but that can also draw people in (ie sunglasses).
