    Digital Lenses

Can anyone please explain the reason for a compensated digital lens and is it better than a non compensated lens. What type feedback are your customers giving you on the lenses. What is your preference for digital lenses.

"Compensated" lenses work best for stronger-powered Rxs, and/or those with significant deviations from the lens designer/manufacturer's expected (default) fitting values for panto, face form and VD. Regardless, any R for aclient who has demonstrated sweet spot adjustment sensitivity will also benefit with these lenses. BUT....THE RX YOU START WITH MUST BE GOOD AND appropriate for thet client. That's your job as a trained and skilled ophthalmic dispenser, and is the *value-added* that *YOU* brin to the table that differentiates you from other opticals who don't.

    Period.
