Oliver Peoples Frame

Hi All,

For a client, I am looking for a Oliver Peoples frame (sunglasses) produced in 1998/1999. It's the Oliver Peoples OP-522 (not to be confused with the famous OP-523).
I looked everywhere and contacted Oliver Peoples HQ + stores all over the world, but the frame seems to have vanished.

I was hoping someone could give me some advice on where I might be able to locate this frame, how to reproduce it or where I might be able to buy it.

Any help is much appreciated. I can provide photographs of the sunglasses on request.

If you'd publish a picture you might find that a lot of the older Oleg Cassini designs are exactly the same as some of the Oliver Peoples.

i can get a brand new pair of op-522 but not with a black frame, I think the frame would be gold. The price would by $500 plus shipping

I think the client preferred black, but in case gold is the only color you have, I'll but it from you.
500$ is a bit out of the price range, can we negotiate a discount?

Hey, I ordered the Oliver Peoples OP-522, probably the last new pair in existence. Your absolutely right that the OP-522 has pretty much vanished, but they were made at a time when Oliver Peoples were definitely more exclusive and are they are a lot harder to find than the OP-523. Anyways, It should take me about a week to receive the sunglasses. Just let me know your email, and I will get back to you when I get the sunglasses in my possession and we can sort out all the details.

Hello everyone. I am hoping that someone here will be able to also assist me in locating a pair of the Oliver Peoples Sunglasses, Model OP522-the ones used in the movie "Cruel Intentions". I am looking for the frame in black with dark lenses, just like the ones in the movie. A other things real quick that will hopefully make these relatively easier to locate: 1. They DO NOT have to be new, I would take a used pair in good condition 2. For me, the frames are the most important part, I have a contact with OP who can get me the lenses, so even if someone can just find me a good used pair of the OP522 sunglasses of just the frame, that would work out for me just fine. 3. Price is NO object. I will a pay a $50 finders fee if someone can locate a pair of these for me and I know how rare these are, so I will pay whatever I have to in order to get them. Thank you all very much in advance, any and all assistance is very much appreciated!
