Sarasota Florida Optician / Optometrist : I need your help with a Snowbird client

As always, my client, gave me less than a week to prepare his eyeglasses before he leaves for Florida. He wanted to try Transitions and he is very pleased with the results. The problem is we decided not to put an AR coating on them (as per his last pair) and now he finds he misses it. There is no time left to have his lens AR coated.

Could someone step up and offerr to help me. If you could have his lens AR coated in Florida, he will pay for the treatment and then be happy. Currently he has a FF progressive transitions in a Marchon Flexon nylon mounting frame.

Call US OPTICAL they do it all in house and ship same day.

Most labs won't apply a high-quality AR on an already edged lens. The ones I know of that will, will only put a Zeiss Super ET AR, but not the super-hhydrophobic type. YYMV.

I can't believe that as opticians, you have never added AR after the lens was cut. When a lens has a defective AR coating, it is re-coated by the lab, withexcellent results

Most labs now remake the lenses. Very few that I know of re-coat the lenses.

Problem resoved thanks to a Sarasota Optician. I greatly appreciate their help and my client will be turning over some cash to them for the work. Thanks agian
