I need to laminate a pair of rx lenses (-5.75 and -3.75) to a scuba mask. years ago with removable faceplates. I used to use canadian balsam with glass lenses. I'm more interested in using resin lenses. any suggestions??

Will ask my friend here who does this all the time. But also go to www.edmundscientific.com they have tons of glues/resins and adhesives for combining lenses.
chip
Eastman 360 or a good ultraviolet curing cement.
Why do you feel inclined to use resin lenses, glued to the back of a glass face plate?
The two materials will not stick well together as one will expand/contract at a different rate - causing the glue to fail.

I too, can recommend Sport Optix. They have a great product!
I made a pair of lens for my diving mask. Do not forget when you make the lens to adjust the Rx for the additional distance it is from your pupil. The vertex distance will be different than from your frames.
As you are going to a bit of an expence.....go to your optometrist & explain what you are doing...he will tailor your Rx for you. Explain to him where you want your clearest vision & he may fine tune your Rx. I found...for me... 9 feet was optimal, with a bifocal only in my dominate eye to view my watch, air time, compass etc. If you are presbyopic but do not want to spring for the extra expence of the bifocal, place a black piece of electrical tape at the bottom with a pin hole, it will act like a bifocal allowing you to read your watch, compass etc.
Fogging a problem in our colder BC lakes...........poly carbonate has a tendency to fog up less than CR39 plus the poly gives you greater strength & 100percent UV protection.
Sincerely,
