HOYA PALs Amplitude versus GP/Wide

I looked on www.thelensguru.com but I'm still not exactly sure what, if any, differences there are between the HOYA AMPLITUDE PAL and the HOYA GP/GPWIDE:

The only differences I see are the blank sizes and a difference of 1 mm in min height required.

I tried contacting our area HOYA Rep but he seems to be M.I.A.

Anyone know the major differences if any???

In a nutshell, the GP Wide has a 26% wider reading area....a proven successful design for a conventional PAL.
